Krishnan & Sullivan LLP provides accounting, assurance, tax and related services to owner-managed businesses including corporations, proprietorships and partnerships, and not-for-profit organizations. With over 40 years of experience between Michael and Hari, the passion has always been and will be to add value to our clients, be it a business, young or experienced entrepreneurs’ or individuals.

The Team

Hari Krishnan
Partner

Hari is a Chartered Accountant with experience in both large and small accounting firms. He spent the first five years of his career working in assurance engagements and tax services. For the last five years, he has specialized in tax, most recently as a tax manager at a mid-sized firm.
His background in large firms has taught him the high standards they uphold, while his small firm experience has given him insight into the needs of owner-managed clients. As a tax specialist, he is well-equipped to help clients navigate complex tax laws and changes.
Before starting his accounting career, Hari worked in a small automotive service business, which provided him with valuable experience in running a business. With his diverse skills and expert knowledge, he is a great fit for any accounting firm.
On a personal note, Hari is married and has two young children, balancing his professional life with family commitments.

Michael Sullivan
Founder

Michael Sullivan received his B.A. in Management from the University of Toronto in 1993, then articled with Arthur Andersen & Co./Deloitte and received his CA designation in 1996. Michael is also an LPA (Licensed Public Accountant), and previously a CFP (Certified Financial Planner, 2000-2018). Prior to attending university, Michael owned and operated a successful food franchise in Toronto for four years. Michael has also served as a director on numerous Boards of not-for-profit organizations as well as volunteering in local organizations.

Nicole Van Geest
Accountant

Nicole has over 25 years experience assisting owner-managed businesses with their accounting, tax and financial challenges. She takes time to learn about the operations of clients’ businesses and develops strong client relationships.

Nicole has been in public accounting since 1998 and joined Sullivan & Co. Prof. Corp., now Krishnan & Sullivan LLP in 2013. She received her B.A. in Honours Business from Redeemer University in 2000.

Nicole assists small to mid-size businesses with their accounting and tax issue in a variety of industries. She also has expertise in agri-business including the Agricorp program and with not-for-profit organizations including charities. She enjoys assisting clients to resolve accounting software issues.

Nicole is married and has two teenage children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending time with her family. She is an active volunteer in her church and local community.

Steven Crawford
Accountant

Steven has over 20 years of experience in preparing personal, estate, and trust taxes. With 15 years in public accounting, he has developed a deep expertise in tax planning and compliance. In 2024, Steven joined Krishnan & Sullivan, where he will continue to provide exceptional service to our clients.
